Watch the user guide and learn how Psychotropic Drug Directory provides advice on the rational use of psychotropics to help multidisciplinary teams confidently and quickly manage clinical scenarios, with over 12,000 key references and covering 150+ psychotropic drugs.

Example of useful links: The “Selecting Drugs, Doses and Preparations” icon takes you to links for “Specific antipsychotic switches” (2.2.1.2), “Antipsychotic dose equivalents” (2.2.1.3), “Switching or discontinuing antidepressants (2.2.7) etc.

STAHL ONLINE

Stahl’s Prescriber’s Guide contains evidence-based data and clinically informed advice to support prescribers.

Examples of useful sections in drug monographs include “What to do about side effects”, “Dosing tips”, “How to stop” & “Pearls”.

Enter required drug name in “Search Stahl Online” box, e.g. “aripiprazole”, then scroll down to view chapters of titles that discuss it.

If you click the PDF link at bottom of each title, you will get full access to it.

MAUDSLEY PRESCRIBING GUIDELINES

The Maudsley Prescribing Guidelines provides succinct coverage of drug treatments of psychiatric conditions, including referenced information & for special patient groups such as children and adolescents, older people and pregnant women.

This publication is arranged like a book (not a database) – so you need to scroll down the page to view each chapter.

Alternately, you can use the search box to find a specific drug.

When searching, make sure to have the option “This Reference Work” selected – then enter required drug, e.g. risperidone. If you don’t have “This Reference Work” selected you’ll get results from across all Wiley content.
